Today, we join the world in celebrating International Women’s Day — an annual event that takes place in March during Women’s History Month. This year’s theme, #BreakTheBias, calls on us to imagine a gender-equal world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.
“Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day are a time for appreciation and advocacy. It is something we should do not just in March but every day. All of us must do our part to eliminate bias, encourage and empower the women in our workplace and our lives and promote equality for all women.”
- Elisa Reliford, Chief Growth Officer, Optum Health
