UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) was the top-ranking company in the insurance and managed care sector for FORTUNE’s 2017 “World’s Most Admired Companies” list.
This is the seventh consecutive year UnitedHealth Group has been No. 1 in this sector. The company ranked No. 1 in eight of the nine key attribute categories – innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, and quality of products and services.
