Emergency preparedness

Natural disaster support

  • Optum is offering a free emotional-support help line whenever you need it. The toll-free number, 866-447-3573, is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT. The service is free of charge and open to anyone. Callers may also receive referrals to community resources.
  • Emotional-support resources and information are available online at www.liveandworkwell.com
  • Members of the UnitedHealth Group Credit Union can learn more about relief services by viewing their Disaster Relief information. For immediate assistance, please call 800-388-7000.
  • Emergency – County of Los Angeles provides local resources and information (evacuation warnings, shelters, water alerts, road closures, etc.).
  • FEMA offers information about recovery assistance and grants.
  • Disaster Loan Assistance offers Federal disaster loans for businesses, private non-profits, homeowners and renters.
  • American Red Cross provides assistance and resources in your area, including available shelters.
